Jay's 50th Birthday

So, here are the pictures from my brother, Jay's, surprise 50th birthday party. Because he was turning 50 and was born in the 50's, we of course had to do a FIFTIES party!! It was a blast!

SURPRISE! Jay coming through the door. He thought he was just coming to our house for the tradition ice cream sundaes that we usually do after Priesthood conference.

Our cute fifties gals! Don't they look just adorable! My mom seriously cracks me up! This is McKell, Ashlee, Mary, Jaydee and their hot Grandma - my mom.

The set up. You can't really see it, but we had old fashioned glass sundae cups and banana split dishes. The spoons were in an old fashioned Coke box.

The centerpiece. If you look closely, you can see that I made special customized menus just for Jay's party. It was pretty fun. Tiffany brought the authentic coke bottles that we tied the balloons to.

We downloaded a ton of great fifties music and that made all the difference. As you can see, our "Pink ladies" went crazy with the dancing. So cute!

My hot greaser man and little pink lady Sadie

The was the table in the front where Jay came in. Lots of fun pictures and his baby book.

My parents are the best. The heard that 50's music and just couldn't help themselves. You wouldn't know that these two are 80 and 73 would you?

Tiff and Scott and their cute little greaser baby, Nate.

The birthday boy and his cute pink ladies McKell & Ashlee. My girls ADORE their Uncle Jay!

The 2 best looking greasers of the night - Cayden and Jay!

Jay and Mom. LOVE this picture!!

Brian and Elise (my niece and nephew) couldn't help themselves. They had to do some 50's swinging! They were great!

Tiff had some great games including a "Straw Drag Race" complete with 50's Hot Wheel cars. The kids had to blow them with straws over the finish line.

The awesome birthday boy. He makes 50 look pretty darn good!

Yep, that's me, all "knocked up".

We finished the night with a rousing version of "The Hokey Pokey"
