Ashlee's Haircut

Not a whole lot to say about this. The picture pretty much speaks for itself. This is what I found in the closet after I noticed Ashlee's hair looked a little different...okay, a lot different. She tried to get out of it by telling me that her hair just "fell out that way when I brushed it!" When I found the evidence in the closet, she then explained that she just wanted her hair to be a new style. Well, she definitely achieved that!

Makin' Pizza

Have I mentioned lately how amazing my hubby is? Well, if I haven't, let me say again how wonderful he is! He has a new found love of our breadmaker. He has become quite a pro at making all sorts of yummy things!! His latest fun creation is making homemade pizzas. He made the dough and then let the kids make their own pizzas. They actually turned out really yummy. Watch out Papa Johns...Papa Rob is here!

A New Year-A new calendar

One of my favorite things about a new year, is getting a new calendar. It is so clean and unmarked and for about 5 minutes, my life and schedule looks very simple. Of course, I then take my marker and start filling in the dates with piano, scouts, dance, church, meetings, birthdays, holidays, parties, school events, etc. But for those 5 minutes, my life is very boring and uneventful. I would say that I would like my calendar to be less full, but that would be a lie. I love for my calendar to be full. Here's to a great 2010!!

Painting with Sadie

Sadie has discovered a new found love of painting. About every day, we turn on some classical music, put on her smock, and let her inner-artist out! She usually ends up painting her face, drinking the water, and making a mess, but we both love painting time!

Tubing

We love to go Tubing.
My parents have a great tubing hill in their backyard.
I took Cayden, Ashlee, and McKell down for a fun day in the snow.
We look forward to a fun winter ahead with many days on the hills.

Bringing in 2010

We had a fun New Year's Eve at home. Pretty low key, but fun. Above is Sadie "helping" clean the house. She loves to vacuum.
Uncle Jon starting making card houses and Sadie was fascinated. She had to try to do it herself.

The party boys. Rob and James

On New Year's Day, we were pleasantly surprised to get a call from our old friends, the Webbs. These were some of our great friends from Idaho. They now live in Vegas, but were here in Utah for the holidays. It was great catching up with them!

Sweet Baby Boy

I cannot believe that my little baby boy is already 6 months old! Where has the time gone? I love this little guy with his gummy smiles, his drooly little mouth, his coos and singing, and now his ever growing chub rolls. What a lucky girl I am to have my little man in my life!
